HENRY FOOTE BARKER

 

MUSICIAN/ DRUMMER

 

CO M,  PA. 102ND REGIMENT VOLUNTEER INFANTRY

 

 

Henry Foote Barker was mustered into the Pa 102nd Regiment Volunteer Infantry as a

musician, (Drummer) on January *15, 1862.  He was 14 years old.

 He mustered out with the Company, June 28, 1865—Vet, at age 17.

 Henry was a member of the GAR  B. B. Shaw Post # 63,

Piedmont W. Virginia.

He was described as 5’4” tall, light hair, blue eyes and light complexion.

 

Henry was born December 18, 1847. 

He married Elma Bradley on August 30th, 1877 in Clarksville Pennsylvania.

 

Henry Foote Barker died March 12, 1906 age 58. 

He is buried in Philos Cemetery, Westernport Maryland.
